Unclear and unsure.

Sunday.  This afternoon, Rob and I met Jim at a small neighborhood pub which had several TVs scattered all around.  Our main purpose was to watch various NFL games, as well as to eat a nourishing lunch of sliders and fries.  The Falcons won — yeah!  There was a surprising number of Falcon fans there, replete with the donning of Falcons football jerseys!

Tomorrow Rob will start his second round of chemo.  The details and logistics are not clear yet.  I’m sure we’ll learn all we need to learn tomorrow, but for tonight, I must admit that I’m a bit unsure of just how this all will work.  He won’t be admitted into the hospital this time around, so it will be done on an “outpatient” basis.

My prayers tonight are for clarity and calmness, for Rob to tolerate the strong meds, and for the anti-nausea meds to work well.  I know that God can and will help us through the day, and I am so thankful in advance for that help!

I don’t like the outpatient part, but I’m sure whatever Dr. Rosen considers the best route will be the best choice. And if it’s outpatient, that means it isn’t 24/7, so hopefully, it
will be a little easier. But Rob makes every part of this process seem easy!

Hang in there, Roslyn. You’re all surrounded by love and light.
