Request for prayer.

Tuesday morning.  Today Joan (Jim’s sister) is having surgery in Atlanta.  Here are her words:

I am asking you to keep me and Mother in your prayers.  I will have surgery Tuesday at 1:00 at Piedmont Hospital.  My doctor hopes to remove both of my ovaries and fallopian tubes by laproscopic surgery.  If he is able to do it the way planned, I should go home the next day.  If he has to do the surgery the conventional way, I will be in the hospital 48 hours.  They will do a biopsy while I am in surgery to make sure this is nothing more than a cyst.

Knowing the power of prayer, and knowing we have a loving God who hears our prayers, I hope you will join me in praying for Joan and Fanester today.

Psalm 17:6-7   I call on you, my God, for you will answer me; turn your ear to me and hear my prayer. Show me the wonders of your great love, you who save by your right hand those who take refuge in you….
